Author for a Day Contest

I’m running a contest in concert with the Humber School for Writers and the International Festival of Authors. Only a few days left to enter! (entries must be received by Friday October 8).

Contestants must submit the opening of a fiction or narrative non-fiction story (maximum 600 words), cut and pasted into the body of an email, within the submission period of Sept. 14 – Oct. 8, 2010, along with their name, address and phone number, to authorforadayifoacontest@gmail.com.
Entrants must also pay the contest entry fee of $10 to the Harbourfront Box Office by October 8, 2010, to be eligible for consideration. The winner must be available from 10am and 3pm on Sunday, October 24, 2010. Transportation to and from Harbourfront Centre in Toronto (if necessary) is the responsibility of the winner. The winning entry will be chosen by Humber School for Writers faculty members.
